Samsung Galaxy Round with curved display has been officially announced...

Samsung Galaxy Round, the world's very first smartphone with a curved display is unveiled by Samsung. It will be available in Korea on October 10.

This smartphone is created with a 5.7" Super Flexible AMOLED touch screen with Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels). As well as there's a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 and a 

Quad-core 2.3GHz Krait 400 CPU.

          

There's a 3GB RAM, 32GB of built in memory and micro SD card upto 64GB.

There's a 13MP camera back of the smart phone and a 2MP front facing camera. It measures 151.1x79.6x7.9mm and weight 154g included with a Li-Ion 2800mAh battery.

The operating system is Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Samsung has included Bounce UX for controlling the device's music player by tapping on its sides, and Gravity Effect for interacting with the display by rolling it.

This device will be available in Luxury Brown for KRW 1,089,000 ($1,000). But there're no plans to promote this internationally (outside of South Korea) by present.
